Licensing and patenting of technologies is a key part of most technology acquisition programs. TIG works with its own legal and intellectual property firms and with those of clients and vendors to establish agreements prior to technology discussions. As development progresses, we work with parties involved in the programs to patent new technologies and license existing technologies.
As of the year 2000, this has resulted in 10 issued patents for clients, with a number pending, and over 16 patent disclosures. A variety of intellectual property agreements have been executed.
In patent and other legal matters TIG has supported litigation initiatives with depositions and location of expert witnesses.
